Manipur witnesses quake and hailstorm

Manipur’s capital city Imphal today witnessed an unusual winter hailstorm that rained for about six minutes till 4:30 pm after the state witness a mild earthquake that occurred at 2: 40 pm. However no destruction or human casualty has been reported till the filing of this report.


Seven injured in police action at Senapati

At least seven demonstrators including three women were injured today in police action at Senapati district town while the agitators stormed towards the districts mini secretariat. Six civilians injure in police action

At least six civilians including a man were today injured in police action at a mob agitating over district boundary dispute over the creation of Kangpokpi district without resolving boundary disputes at Singda village.
