Moral Education Intellectual Renascent Athletic Association beat South Eastern Youth Organisation by a narrow margin of 4-3 goals in the Senior Women Manipur Hockey League 2017 played at Khuman Lampak Hockey Stadium. 

Despite trailing by four goals in the first half, the South Eastern team surge up in the second half to struck three quick goals in a spate of five minute but time ran out, for the defeat today. 

Moral Education got the early breakthrough when N. Ritu Devi fetch the opening goal in the 2 minute of play and later S.Tanu Devi consolidates in the 16 minute to dictate terms in the match. Making further progress in the game, N. Ritu Devi came up with her second goal in 22 minute and S. Tanu Devi also bring up her second in the 28 minute to post 4-0 goals. 

Downed by four goals, the South Eastern Youth Organisation energised by the break, rose to the occasion when Ksh.Sophia Devi came up with the first goal in 35 minute and later Ksh. Sonia Devi quickfired two goals in the 37 and 39 minute, but that proved too late. 

In another match, Social Youth Union Club beat Youth Club cum Information Centre by 7-1 goals in one sided affairs.
