AIFF Indian Women League

Eastern Sporting Union, Manipur thrashed Jepplaar IT FC, Puducherry by 7-1 goals in the AIFF Indian Women League 2016-17 which kicks off at Dr. Ambedkar Stadium, New Delhi.

Jepplaar IT FC put up a tough fight but just before the first half whistle Y.Kamala Devi break loose to slot home the opening goal for Eastern Sporting Union in the 44 minute for the lead. Picking up momentum in the second half, Y.Kamala Devi shines again with her second goal in the 62 minute to boost Eastern Sporting scoreline to 2-0 goals.

However Jepplar IT FC rise up with R. Sandhya ruffling the net with her team first goal in the 63 minute which turn out to be their last in the match. The latter minute belong to the Eastern Sporting Union with Y. Kamala Devi coming up with her hattrick goal in the 83 minute. Kashmina too showed her skill, scoring a hattrick in the 71st, 88th, 90th minute. Y. Premi Devi chip in with a goal in the 77 minute for the huge win.

Eastern Sporting Union, Manipur in their next match will face Rising Student’s Club, Odisha on Monday at 3pm.
