Chajing Cricket Club posted 27 run win over Kuki Sporting Club in the 5th Twenty-20 Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament 2016-17 played at Oriental College and Model Higher Secondary School ground.

Chajing rode on Krishnakumar who hit an unbeaten 63 runs with able support from Mohen Singh with 27 runs to post 124 runs for 6 wicket from 20 overs. Among Kuki bowler, Gouminlun bagged 3 wicket while Nighor got 2 wicket.

In reply, Kuki Sporting Club muster to put up 97 runs for 10 wicket 19 overs. Kuki batsman Lenpu hit 29 runs and Nganminlu fetch 12 runs among the top run getters. Chajing bolwer Sanjit Singh and Ranbir Singh claimed 3 wicket each while Rakesh took 1 wicket. Chajing batsman Krishnakumar was declared the man of the match for his unbeaten 63 runs knock.
