Plea for good education

All Manipur Recognised Private Schools Welfare Association has urged the state education authority to ensure of teaching with the books prescribed by the Board of Secondary Education Manipur so that the students have proper knowledge on Manipur.
L. Joy Khuman, secretary of the private schools welfare association said recommendation of text books published by the companies of outside the state by the private schools may lead the emerging students of the state to wrong interpretation of the historical and cultural context of Manipur.
He appealed the authority to ensure that books published by the BOSEM are to be taught strictly in schools.
Joy also appealed to check those schools established without the authorisation of the government and check if the private schools in the state are recognised by the state so that the school education system in the state improves.
