Five injures in election campaign scuffle

Five workers of BJP candidate L. Rameshwor of Keirao assembly constituency were injured in an alleged attack by the Congress supporters while the BJP supporters were conducting campaign rally.
Rameshwor has appealed to the authority concern to look into the matter and also appealed to the workers to concentrate on their campaign activity instead of disturbing others.
“So far we have been proceeding peacefully to campaign for votes and we have neither attacked others not retaliated to any attacks at us. We want to have a peaceful democratic atmosphere. Let the people elect their representatives of their choice.” Said Rameshwor.
He said if his opponent congress candidate MLA Karam Thamarjit has wild workers the Keirao constituency will be full of violence and appealed his opponent to have the same feeling of contesting the election in a peaceful manner.
