Joy gives priority on peace

Veteran politician Okram Joy Singh has emphasised to give his first priority to bring peace and communal harmony in the state on his BJP flag hoisting ceremony held today.
In the public meeting held at his Langthabal constituency in connection with the flag hoisting ceremony large people turned up and responded with applause in public addresses given by the state and national leaders of BJP. People in groups came with offerings of vegetables and fruits showing approval of their candidate during the gathering.
Talking to the reporters on the sideline O. Joy said he had been anti congress since his boyhood and therefore and I have observed the principal of Congress Mukta Bharat in the country. “Congress is responsible for all the unwanted happening in the state as well as in the nation, therefore if BJP comes to power there will be peace and harmony, which would be my utmost task”, added O. Joy.
Prahlad Singh Patel who is BJP in charge Manipur said the fund sanctioned by the centre for the poor citizens could not reach them; instead it went to the pocket of the ministers of the state government.
Union Minister of HRD, Prakash Javadekar said the congress government is taking advantage of the present indefinite blockade imposed by the United Naga Council and that’s why Ibobi has not been utilising the central paramilitary forces sent by the centre to help his government to end the blockade.
“If the Ibobi government doesn’t bring an end to the blockade in 3-4 days the centre will airlift petroleum fuels to Manipur”, added Javadekar.
