Troops of 27 Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ 10 Sector Assam Rifles & IGAR (South) detected an IED on 27 March 2017 at 09:15 am in a search operation. State Announces Ex-Gratia

The state government has announced ex gratia to each of the bereaved family members of those who died and injured yesterday in different road mishaps. Chief minister has announced an ex gratia of Rs. 2 lakhs each to bereaved family members of those who were killed, Rs. 50, 000 each to those who were seriously injured and Rs. 30, 000 each to those who were less injured. In different road mishaps along the two national highways 21 died and 23 were injured.
