Polls reach 86 percent

An overall total of 86 percent of voters cast their vote in the 11th Manipur State Assembly Election as against the 79.80 percent of the last assembly election, despite of chaos at some constituencies. Blast injures eight

Blast in the heart of Imphal has injured at least eight including three women and among the five men two are said to be seriously injured. The blast took place at around 5: 50 pm in front of a pharmacy at Kasturi Bridge, located at a market place in Thangal Bazar.
