Police gears up drive against drug

State police has been gearing up its anti-drug drives which have yet again brought destructions to preparations of a local liquor and seizure of SP capsules. A team of Churachandpur police and its drug cell today raided liquor production centres at Waikhrok area near Kaparang village of Torbung area. Bullet hits oil tankers

Two oil tankers—one a petrol carrier and another, a diesel carrier were shot and leaked by suspected militants and along the Imphal-Dimapur road today morning. The petrol tanker bore the registration number MN 01 44 0402 and the diesel tanker bore the registration number MN 053 0473. The firing incident took place when the loaded trucks were heading towards Imphal at area. The trucks were later escorted by the police along with others. Advocates disappoint over appointment of AG

High Court Bar Association of Manipur today staged a sit-in protesting against the contemplated appointment of advocate general, Manipur from outside the state.
