Four Manipur Police Commandos Injured in IED Blast

Two police commandoes and two Manipur Rifles personnel were injured at an ambush with IED conducted by suspected to be militants at Kwatha Khunou Lamkhai in Chandel districts which is about 100kms away from Imphal. Forest minister intercepted illegal log transport lorry

Forest and Environment Minister Th. Shyamkumar intercepted 14 trucks loaded with logs, illegally brought from Myanmar via Kamjong District in Ukhrul on Wednesday. The truck drivers who were taking the logs to the neighbouring state of Nagaland possessed fake transit pass.
