State Level Boxing Championship

Ngamba Longjam representing Tengoupal punched his way to the gold in the State Level Boxing Championship 2017 held at Khuman Lampak Boxing Ring.
Ngamba Longjam competing in the sub-junior mens 28-30kg final outpunched T.Amarjit of Churchandpur for the gold and silver medal.
In the 30-32kg bout, M.Amarjoshi Meitei of Imphal West got the better of Kh.Bikash Singh of Bishnupur for the gold and silver while in the 34-36kg bout, K.Roshan Meitei of Ukhrul win the gold with a unanimous decision over H.Nilakanta Meitei of Bishnupur, who had to settle for the silver.
The senior mens 64kg semi final bout saw, Y.Priyo Meitei of Imphal West beat Adarash Subba of Ukhrul while O.Brandon of Bishnupur beat A.Maikel Meitei of Imphal East, to moves into the final.
As for the sub junior women 46-48kg semi final, P.Bhumati of Thoubal beat Nengneihat Gante of Churchandpur while Bidya Maisnam of Bishnupur beat Chanringwon Khaleng of Ukhrul, to booked theirs berth to the final.
