Manipur Police Sports Club beat Youth Development Organisation by 2-0 goals in the 18th S.Birendra Singh Memorial Super Division Football League 2017 played at SKYC ground, Sekmai.
The Youth Development Organisation proved to be a hard nut to be cracked as they hold theirs forth against the policemen. However the latter break the shackles just before the first whistle when Khem Bahadur ruffles the net in the 45 minute for the lead. Making further foray, Manipur Police Sports Club consolidates in the 50 minute when Ksh.Kanta Singh bang home the winning goal.
Manipur Police player Khem Bahadur and Youth Development player K.Kiran got a yellow card in the match.
In another match, NCC Khonghampat blanked SKYC Sekmai by 2-0 goals to collect full point. Goaless in the first half, Kkhonghampat unfurl theirs wing in the second half with Ng.Naocha hitting home both the goals in the 46 and 66 minute.
Sub Junior Boys: DSA Bishnupur thrashed DSA Kakching by 4-0 goals. The match proved to be a one sided match as the Bishnupur boys faced little resistance from the Kakching team. L.Ajendra scored two goals while N.Abungton and M.Jetlee fetch a goal each for the victory.
