Continuing its drive against drug, a combined team of Imphal East Distric police and NAB Manipur Police contraband drugs on the possession of one drug dealer from Porompat.
The police team raided the Pangal Leirak area and seized 484 numbers of SP tablets, 100 numbers of of N10 tablets and 90 numbers of World is Yours tablets from the possession of Md. Fazal (33) son of (L) Itomba of porompat pangal leirak.
After the BJP came to power the state police have been conducting it’s drive against drug and alcohol regularly and many fall prey in the hands of the police.
Talking to Pothasang Ng. Chandramani a retired teacher said the society and it’s pillars are becoming weak day by day giving a serious blow by the drug culture. Everyone should encourage and support the police to retain a clean society, added the senior citizen.
People has also been witnessing the government’s action against trading of tobacco products. This is a welcoming sign of the BJP led government, said the senior citizen.
