Super Division Football League 2017

NC Club, Khonghampat are on the brink of being declared the champion of the 18th Birendra Singh Memorial Super Division Football League 2017 played at SKYC Ground, Sekmai.
In theirs last league match, NC Club had a super run against Birchandra Memorial Sporting Club as the former beat by 3-1 goals.
Birchandra Memorial looked positive in the beginning with N.Bijoy Singh banging home the opening goal in the 12 minute for the lead in the first half. The NC Club who had a cautious approach in the beginning, unleased theirs prowess in the 65 minute when H.Anilkumar Singh fetch the equaliser to level 1-1 goals.
Making further effort in the match, NC Club consolidates with H.Dayananda Singh in the 70 minute and later Ng.Naocha Singh wraps the match with his goal in the 75 minute for the victory.
In another match, CHIKL Chajing blanked Manipur Police Sports Club by 3-0 goals. Th.Santosh Singh gets the opening goal in the 7 minute while N.Leingakpa come up with the second goal in the 46 minute and S.Netrajit Singh bring up the winning goal in the 68 minute.
The last league match will played Youth Development Organisation and host SKYC Sekmai on August 1 at 2pm.
Imphal East League: XI Star hold on Youth Organisation Sports Club by 1-1 goals to share a point each. Promario gets the opening goal for XI Star in the 11 minute but Youth Organisation fetch the equaliser through Ajmir Shah just before the first half whistle in the 45 minute for the drawn result.
In the other match, NIVSO Keibi also settle for a draw against DOAK Andro by 1-1 goals. Ratan Singh gets the opening goal for Andro team while N.Ranchandra fetch the equaliser for NIVSO in the 53 minute to share a point each.
