UPAA Kiyamgei fencer H.Loyumba Singh grabbed the gold in the Mini Boys Foil event in the 13th Governor’s Cup State Level Fencing Championship 2017 which got underway at Indoor Stadium, Khuman Lampak.
The final event saw, Loyumba Singh had a tough fight against S.Hemash of SWC Khongman but the former prevails in the end by 15-13 point for the gold and silver.
As for the Mini Boys Epee event, Joshobanta Singh of Miishikhol beat Lamjingba of UPAA Kiyamgei by 15-13 point for the gold and silver medals. In the Mens Sabre event, N.Solik Singh of SWC Khongman beat N.Arunkumar Singh of Miishikhol by 15-11 point for the gold and silver medals on the second day.
