As a part of security measures in the run up of Independence Day celebration security forces apprehended one KCP (Noyon) cadre and one woman cadre of PREPAK (pro), today.
A joint team of Thoubal police and a column of 2 AR arrested Khoirom Ratan@ Nganba@ Kathokpa(31) son of Kh. Jagur Singh of Lourembam Mayai Leikai, an active member of KCP(Noyon), from his residence at 5 am. On police verification he disclosed that he joined KCP(N) in April 2015 through one Bijoy of Moreh.
He got three days arms training and worked in finance section under the command of one Pamel s/s L. Cpl. of KCP(Noyon).
The arrested person was handed over to Nongpok Sekmai PS for further necessary action.
In another move police arrested Yumlembam (N) Waikhom (0) Ranjana Devi @ Bembem@ Shila(32) wife of W. Prasanta Singh of Kwakeithel Konjeng Leikai at present residing at Sugnu Turel Wangma Thong Makha s/s 2nd Lieutenant of PREPAK(PRO) from Sugnu Bazar near bus parking.
She disclosed that she joined PREPAK (PRO) in October 2000 through one Tamba of PREPAK. She got 60 days basic training at Sajik camp and her Army number is 10358 of 10th batch.
