S.Crownlady of UPAA Kiyamgei bagged the gold in Sub Junior Girls Epee event of the 13th Governor’s Cup State Level Fencing Championship 2017 at Indoor Stadium, Khuman Lampak.
The final sub junior girls Epee event saw, Crownlady beat S.Nelyrose of SAI RC by 15-10 point while T.Preetirani of Miishikhol and Th.Sandhya of RSC claimed the bronze medals.
As for the Sub Junior Girls Foil, W. Sonia of SAI RC beat compatriot L.Nirmala by 15-6 point for the gold and silver while N.Asha of SAI RC and L. Bidyalaxmi of UPAA Kiyamgei settle for the bronze medals. The Cadet Boys Epee event saw Th.Satish of SWC Khongman beat N.Amarjit of KHSC Khongman by 15-11 point for gold and silver while Sh.Bronson of UPAA Kiyamgei and AY.Arbinkumar of SAI RC collect the bronze medal.
In the Cadet Boys Foil event, Th.Binish Singh of SAI RC beat Ok.Dinesh of SWC Khongman to fetch the gold and silver medals while L.Alex of KHSC Khongman and O.Dinesh of UPAA Kiyamgei had to content with the bronze medals.
