State police force has picked up twelve men and four women in two cordon and search operations conducted in Thoubal and Imphal East districts, today.
In the search operation conducted at Bishnupur bazar ward no.4 from 5 am to 6 am by Bishnupur district police team comprising SDPO/BPR, DySP (CDO),DySP (ops), OC CDO and a team of BPR PS with W/PC.
Aound 250 males were varified and detained 3 persons who were later handed over to BPR ps for further verification
In another similar operation which was conducted by CDO Imphal Eadt team at Kairang 4 am to 6 am130 female, 168 male verified. Four women and nine males picked up for further verification.
