DOAK Andro demolished UPSA Pukhao by 6-0 goals in the Maharajkumar Ghanendrajit Memorial Super Division Football League 2017 played at ABA Ground, Imphal East.
In a slussy outfield, UPSA had difficulty in reading the ground well as compared to its opponent who lodged two goals in theirs favour in the first half itself. Lien Neithem opened the goal account for DOAK in the 14 minute of play and later Thangkhalal Haokip bring up the second goal in the 19 minute to lead the first half play.
Taking further grip to the match, DOAK consolidates in the 57 minute with Lunjoy Haokip netting home the third goal in the 57 minute and later Ratan Singh struck twice in the 64 and 72 minute to post 5 goals lead. DOAK final goal of the match was made by Y.Gojen Singh in the 76 minute for the comfortable victory.
In another match, PYA Kairang hold on RAU Lairikyengbam Leikai by 3-3 goals. H.Sony, Ayat and N.Laibakchao scored a goal each for DOAK while for PYA team, Md.Adalat struck twice and Md.Soheb Khan chip in with a goal.
First Division: ABA Khetrigao beat SWC Khongman by 2-0 goals in the M.Ibobi Memorial First Division Football League Tournament 2107 played earlier in the day at the same ground. Renedy scored the opening goal in the 37 minute while Aslam bring up the winning goal in the 76 minute.
