Security measures amid Patriots’ Day observations

As a part of the security measures taken up in connection with the upcoming Independence Day Celebrations, surprise cordon and search was conducted at Kakching  Lamkai while Patriots’ Day was observing across the state. The 126th Patriots’ Day was observed today at the Manipuri Kala Mandir, Dhalpukhri, Hojai district, Assam. A statue of Bir Tikendrajit was inaugurated as part of the function organised by the Manipuri Sahitya Parishad Assam, District Committee, Hojai. Manipur observed Patriots’ Day at different levels across the state paying tribute to the heroes of manipur who fought against the british during the Anglo-Manipuri War.
