A member of KCP (Noyon) was today apprehended in an operation jointly conducted by state police and Assam Rifles.
The operation was conducted at 2.30 pm by Thoubal police commando and a column of 6 AR and arrested Moirangthem Loyangamba Meetei @ Kangleipuba (25) son of M. Sanayamba of Sekta Awang Leikai an active member of KCP (Noyon) from Lilong Bazar near Arapti Lamkhai.
He joined KCP (Noyon) on 15 May 2017 through one Mr. Guliver of Moirang. He got 45 days basic military training and his army number is 531of 21st batch of KCP (Noyon). He was posted to 131 Bn. of KCP (Noyon) and working under the command of Sergeant Guliver self stye BSM of Kabo Valley Training Center, says police.
He also disclosed the police that he recruited some youths for KCP organisation. 3 mobile phones with 3 SIM cards were found in his possession and seized the same from him.
The arrested person along with the seized articles have been handed over to Lilong Police for further necessary action.
