KSA CALLS OFF GENERAL STRIKE

KSA has called 48 hour general strike till Friday as the student body is meeting the chief minister on the same day. The general strike was announced to begin tonight alleging the state government for harassing those who had been involving in the movement for implementation of Inner Line Permit system in the state. Rishang Keishing oldest parlimentarian and veteran Congress leader who served as chief minister of Manipur and member of Rajya Sabha has passed away at 97. Doctor declared his death at around 8: 15 pm, yesterday. He was admitted at RIMS on July 1. He was suffering from heart and kidney ailments.
