CM EXTENDS WISHES TO THE WINNERS OF FIAMA NORTHEAST DIVA

The winners of the FIAMA NorthEast DIVA 2016-17 called on the Chief Minister Shri N. Biren Singh at his office chamber.

The winner of the beauty pageant Miss Peden Ongmu Namgyal, aged 21 years of Sikkim, 1st runner-up Miss Loukrakpam Angobi Chanu, aged 18 years of Manipur and 2ndrunner-up Miss Poonam Das, aged 18 years of Assam sought the blessings of the Chief Minister Shri N. Biren Singh in their future endeavours.

Extending his best wishes to the winners of the beauty pageant, Chief Minister Shri N. Biren Singh expressed that such platform not only showcases individual personality but also empower women to overcome stereotypes and break barriers. Such platform would also help them to become self-reliant to achieve greater heights, he added.

Mention may be made that the North East Diva Pageant aims to empower and encourage the young talented women of Northeast to get a platform in the national as well as International Fashion Arena. Fiama Northeast Diva 2016-17 held its audition and selected girls from across the States of NorthEast India. The grand finale of the event was held on 20 August,2017 at Guwahati.
