Imphal, September 13: The militants who were killed in a gun fight in Kamjong district were today brought to Kasom Khullen police station this morning.
However due to landslide at about 8 kms away from the police the corpses will reach Imphal tomorrow they would either brought to RIMS or JNIMS mortuary.
They were identified as Sgt/maj. Richard alias Dinesh son of W.Nongyaijao, Kanglatombi bazar board, Sgt/Lalloi alias Khundrakpam Sunil son of Kh. Sanatomba, Leitanpokpi, Pte. Nanao alias Moirangthem Tomba on of ( L) M. Biren, Keibi Awang Leikai, Pte Sinthouba alias Konjengbam Shyamsunder s/o K. Nirmol, Cachar Lakhimpur Khunou and Raikham Jazo son of Nimai jazo, Nongdam village , Ukhrul disttrict Kamjong block.
They were killed in a gun fight between a group of NSCN IM and a combine group of CorCom and MNPF (Manipur Naga People’s Front) at Makan village under Kasom Khullen block, Kamjong district yesterday early morning.
Makan village is 45 kilometers away from Kasom.
