IMPHAL, SEPTEMBER 16, 2017 (DIPR): Th. Shyamkumar, Minister MAHUD, Town Planning, Forests and Environment and Horticulture and Soil Conservation inaugurated the ‘Loan Mohatsav’ organised by the HDFC Bank at its’ Imphal Branch in MG Avenue. Similar ‘Loan Mohatsav’ was also held at HDFC Bank Paona Bazar Branch and Chingmeirong Branch today.
Speaking as the Chief Guest of the function, Minister Th. Shyamkumar appreciated the HDFC Bank for providing vehicle loan to the unemployed youths saying that it will give an opportunity to them to earn livelihood. He appealed to the loanees to repay the loan on time to maintain a healthy relationship and trust between a bank and a customer.
The bank is providing various loans to the employed, salaried and unemployed people during the ‘Loan Mohatsav’, which will continue throughout the year. The bank has also collaborated with the authorised vehicle dealers in the State to avail loan on two-wheelers and four-wheelers.
