Ban on Transgender organising events

Potthashang News Service Imphal, Oct 6: Lamlai Students’ Ideal Club has imposed ban transgenders from organising any event in the Lamlai areas indefinitely. A press statement released by the student club, said, the decision to ban transgender from organising any event was taken unanimously by Lamlai Development Committee, Lamlai Apunba Meira Paibi and Lamlai Students’ Ideal Club following an disgraceful incident which occurred during a birthday celebration on September 29, 2017.
