No changes in Tripartite talk

Imphal, October 6: The Tripartite Talk among government of India, government of Manipur and United Naga Council which was held at Senapati District Headquarters ended fruitless with the resolution as in the first talk after BJP came to power.

The United Naga Council raised objection to the constitution of Boundary Commission by the State Government. However the talk once again remained the same with the same previous resolutions. Today ends with the previous proceedings will be upheld by the party concerned.

It ended fixing another round of Tripartite talk  on 10th November, 2017.

The Government of Manipur was represented by    V. Hangkhanlian, Minister, Agriculture, Veterinary and Animal Husbandry, Manipur, N. Kayisii, Minister Tribals and Hill Area Development and Fisheries, Manipur and Thokchom Radheshyam Singh, Minister, Education and Labour and Employment, Manipur, J. Suresh Babu, additional chief secretary, government of Manipur and K. Radhakumar Singh, commissioner (Works), government of Manipur.

The UNC team was represented by Gaidon Kamei, President, UNC, S. Milan, general secretary, UNC, Seth Shatshang, president, All Naga Student Association Manipur and Asha Wungnam, president, Naga Women’s Union

Government of India was represented by Satyendra Garg, join secretary (NE), MHA, government of India.
