Total shut deserts Imphal

Pothashang News Service Imphal, October 14: Total shutdown strike imposed by proscribed KYKL, KCP and the National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) in Manipur and Tripura have paralyzed Imphal. The strike was imposed denouncing against the alleged Indian colonial rule which came into effect since October 15, 1949. The shutdown strike began at the midnight ended at 6pm today. It did not cover essential services. No untoward incidents were witnessed during the strike. Road mishap kills 1; 4 critical

Pothashang News Service Imphal, October 15: A pastor from Tamei died in a road accident along Impha-Jiribam road, while four were critically injured. The road accident took place early this morning at around 12:30 and the pastor at the spot.
