Imphal October 17, 2017 (DIPR): Education Minister Shri Thokchom Radheshyam Singh today visited the Kakching Higher Secondary School, Kakching. He was disheartened to see the latest built school building of 2005 in a very pity condition.

The roof of the building were totally damaged. The roof of the top floor i.e., of the second floor was built without any pillar. The floors of the school were all broken. The Minister expressing dissatisfaction said that such type of constructional work should have been stopped and never been allowed to continue.

The Minister had directed the engineering wing of the education department to inspect the school as soon as possible during the working hour and do the needful as required.

The Kakching Higher Secondary School has classes from 9 – 12 with more than 600 students.
