7th pay commission; Prime Minister writes for appropriate action, Employees campaign for mass casual leave

Imphal, October 20: Campaign for Mass Casual Leave agitation to be performed on October has been conducted at Manipur secretariat for its demand to implement the 7th Central Pay in respect of Manipur Government employees.

Many employee leaders from all Departments took part in the campaign and response from all state government officers working in the secretariat have responded very positively and they are ready to do so.

“A letter dated October 9 from the Prime Minister’s office has been received by the chief secretary, which was written in response to our memorandum submitted on October 2 and instructed the state government for appropriate action”, asserted in a press release signed by M. Iboyaima Meetei, publicity secretary, Manipur government service federation.

Further, the state government has also been asked to send the related action or reply to upload on the Prime Minister’s portal, added the press statement.
