Maoist general strike compels Run for unity to postpone

Pothashang News Service Imphal, November 4: “Leepun Lamjen”, a unity marathon run which was scheduled tomorrow has been postponed until further announcement of a new date, due to Maoist Communist Party of Manipur’s general strike. The communist party imposed the general strike tomorrow starting from 5 am to 5 pm, demanding action against the culprits who are responsible for the misappropriation of PDS items in the state.
