NAS conducted amid chaos

Imphal, November 14: National Achievement Survey (NAS), 2017 was yesterday conducted all across the state the 13th November, 2017 in more than 1000 sampled government schools and government aided schools.

The test was conducted for class 3 and class 8 students and the number of students in a class in a school for the test cannot exceed 30.

For conducting the assessment, 2304 field investigators were nominated by SCERT were used to conduct the test.

For monitoring of the assessment test, observers numbering 73 from 14 departments were used to monitor the test.

Reports of the test material were received at the office of the principal, DIET of the respective districts and so far around 400 schools have reported back. By late evening today the final reports shall be made available.

Overall NAS 2017 was successfully conducted inspite of the bandh in Lilong area and bomb blast at Chandel.
