BISWAJIT INAGURATES FIRST NORTH EAST INDIA REGIONAL WOMEN ‘S CONFERENCE

Imphal, November 19,2017 (DIPR). Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Mninster Shri Thongam Biswajit Singh today  inaugurated  First North East India Regional women’s conference at Marwari Dharamsala  hall . The conference was organized by  Bharat Vikas Parishad, Manipur chapter on the theme  ‘Women’s Empowerment’.

Speaking on the occasion as chief guest , Minister Biswajit  stated that inorder to maintain peace in our society, we need to promote women .He maintained that  by providing education to women will surely improve the economy of the  country and at the same time will solve unemployment problem.

Minister further stressed that until and unless we didn’t solve women’s problem corruption will continue in our society.To reduce crime against women we need to provide education and increase work places for women .

Unlike the past ,women are doing very well in our state. They are excellent in every field ,in government hospital we can see good numbers of women doctor ,in competition exams too conducted by commission  maximum numbers of selected candidates are women ,he added.

Minister asserted that women ‘s participation is very much need for bringing development across the universe.

The inaugural session of the conference was attended by National president of Bharat Vikas Parishad Shri  Sitaram Pareek, Vice chancellor  of Central Agricultural University,Iroisemba Dr M.Premjit Singh, National Additional Secretary  General (NER) Bharat Vikas  Parishad  Shri Swadesh  Ranjan Goswami, Regional Patron(NER) Dr S.Rajendra Singh ,delegates and members of the Bharat Vikas  Praishad.
