Imphal, November 29, 2017: For the fourth time in the harvesting season another harvested rice stack was found burnt today at Bashikhong Kajipat Loukol in Imphal East when the labourers went to thrash the paddy.  

The paddy belonged to Sapam Jitendra son of (L) Sapam Bishambhor from Khongman Okram Chuthek. The paddy was harvested Monday. Those who went to harvest their paddy saw the burning paddy this morning.

Annoyed over the incident, Jitendra said he will approach the police to book the culprit involved in the burning.

The most recent incident of burning down of rice stacks was that of November 24

Laipat Loukon paddy field, Ningthoukhong Bazar, Bishnupur.
