Manipur snatches IAWA India 2017 titles

Imphal, December 21, 2017: Manipur participants in the IAWA India beauty have brought laurels for the state by winning respectable positions by all the six contestants participated in the National Beauty Pageant contest held at Lokhanwala Park, Mumbai.

Naorem Tony Meitei won Mr IAWA India 2017 and Mr. Fashion Icon; Archana Konsam won Miss IAWA India 2017 2nd Runners up; Miss Best Smile and Miss Fashion Icon, Adaphro Sylvia won Mrs IAWA India 2017 1st Runners Up, Mrs Best Smile and Mrs Cat Walk, Ashakiran Konsam won Mrs IAWA India 2017 1st Runners up, Mrs Talented and Mrs Fit Body; Homen Mangshatabam won Mr IAWA India (Married) 2017; and Thangbiaklian Guite  won Mr IAWA India (Married) 2017 2nd Runners up and Mr Charity.

IAWA India 2017 is a National Beauty Pageant presented by Amarcine Proeuction Mumbai and co presented by Indian Oil Grand Finale was held on December 7 at Lokhanwala Park, Mumbai and the event was managed by Raj & BK. The motive behind the PAN India beauty pageant is to spread the message to stop domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, women empowerment.

Manipur’s Delegates to represent the state was shortlisted after the State Level Pageant IAWA INDIA MANIPUR 2017 which was held on 9th August 2017 in Imphal at IMA. There were 27 Finalist (Delegates) cross the country to represent their own respective cities for Grand Finale. From Manipur the six delegates were selected.
