Imphal Municipal Corporation paralysed with strike

Pothashang News Service Imphal, January 30, 2018: The Imphal Municipal Corporation is paralysed as its 162 employees are on cease work strike since January 11 demanding to clear their pending eight months’ salary and to implement Sixth Pay Commission recommendations. They have started staging sit-in on the sixth day the cease work strike began, inside the municipal council office complex as the authorities remained silent to their cease work strike.
