Pothashang News Service, Imphal, February 6: Blast at AR transit camp, Minuthong, Imphal West injured at least nine AR; two of them are said in critical condition.
The blast took place simultaneously at around 6 pm. Both the bombs exploded inside the transit camp compound. One exploded near the gate of its western gate and another bomb exploded about 50 metre away from the first bomb.
The injured persons are identified as Sanju Lama of 25 AR, Amar Sargary of 33 AR, Umesh Kumar of 42 AR, Shameer, H. Konyak, Dependra Subedy and Raj Kishor, Pradeep Sharma of 8 AR and Rajesh Kumar of 2AR. They were rushed to Shija Hospital and Research Institute.
The blast came after two AR jawans were injured in a grenade blast at Imphal Polo ground, yesterday.
