Pothashang News Service, Imphal, February 7, 2018: Poppy plants valued around Rs 1.5 crore were destroyed today in the hill range located between Tarao Lamkhai and Lamkang Khunyai village in Tengnoupal District. The poppy farms were taken up at around 25 acres. They were destroyed during 9 am to 1.30 pm by a combined team of Chandel Police, Tengnoupal Police, NAB and 8 MR in presence of SDC Tengnoupal N.Kamei as executive magistrate.
