Biren inspects civil secretariat and Luwangpokpa cricket stadium

Imphal, March 01, 2018 (DIPR): Chief Minister Shri N. Biren Singh along with Public Health Engineering Minister Shri Losii Dikho inspected the work progress of Civil Secretariat at Mantripukhri in Imphal East District today.

Advisor to Chief Minister Shri Rajat Sethi, Principal Secretary (Planning) Shri Vineet Joshi and other high ranking officials also accompanied them during the inspection.

Later, the team also inspected the condition of Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium at Luwangshangbam in the same district. The inspection team was joined by Water Resources Minister Shri Letpao Haokip there.

It may be mentioned that the BJP-led Government is planning to celebrate its first anniversary on March 15. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is likely to visit the State to inaugurate the 105th Indian Science Congress and take part in the celebration.

As such, the State Government is making hectic preparations for the visit of the Prime Minister, Union Ministers and other Central leaders.
