Security operations along the Indo-Myanmar border

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, March 9, 2018: Ahead of the proposed visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union home minister Rajnath in Manipur state police today conducted a combing operation at the Indo-Myanmar border town Moreh.

A police team with its commandoes conducted the operation at as a part Siang Veng, Mauriang Veng and Khonophai near Integrated Check Post as a part of security measures in connection with the visit of the leaders.

The operation took two hours beginning at 2 pm. Altogether 120 persons of  were verified during the operation. There was no unwanted result in the operation.
