Manipur women tour reaches Delhi

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, March 11, 2018: The religious tour comprising 16 Meitei women on their first day of visit to Delhi visited the famous Lotus Temple. They also visited the Akshardham Temple which is a symbol of traditional Hindu and Indian Culture with glimpses of historic spirituality and architecture.

The team on their second day of visit in Delhi visited Birla temple, Chhatarpur Temple and Yogmaya Temple. This visit not only helped the tour members in gaining knowledge on ancient Hindu architecture, but also gave them an insight to the rich cultural heritage of our country. The religious tour team will be visiting various religious places in Delhi, Agra and Mathura and meeting prominent personalities, said a release by IGAR (S).
