Minister Biswajit inspects Integrated Check Post (ICP) at Moreh
MOREH, MARCH 13, 2018: Commerce, Textiles and Industries Minister Shri Thongam Biswajit Singh today inspected the Integrated Check Post (ICP) at Moreh, Tengnoupal District. The Minister said the ICP at Moreh Gate Number No. 1 will boost border management and trade infrastructure.
The Minister speaking to media persons after the inspection said that the ICP will have provide secure, seamless and efficient systems for cargo and passenger movement. He also said that trade transaction costs will reduce and promote regional trade and people-to-people contact.
The ICP at Moreh is one of the 13 Integrated Check Posts being developed by Central Government. The Minister was accompanied by Tengnoupal D/C Shri Kh. Raghumani, Tengnoupal SP Dr. S. Ibomcha Singh and officials of Land Port Authority of India among others.
