Health Minister inaugurates five projects including two water supply schemes
Imphal March 14, 2018 (DIPR): As part of the one year celebration of the BJP led Government of the State Health and Family Welfare Minister Shri L. Jayantakumar Singh today inaugurated a 10 bedded Homeopathy Hospital, a Homeopathy Dispensary, an Ayush Store and two Water Supply Schemes at different locations. Prior to the Inauguration of different schemes and projects minister Jayantakumar distributed 4 (four) sophisticated Mortuary Vans to interior areas of four hill districts. The mortuary vans have been incurred by the State Government at the cost of around Rs. 25 lakhs.
Later, Shri Jayantakumar inaugurated a Homeopathy Dispensary at Kwakeithel Konjeng Leikai, Imphal West. Speaking at the occasion as Chief Guest he said that the AYUSH method of treatment and medication has become very common at the present days. Medicines from AYUSH is also available at an affordable price with no side effect to the users, he added. He also maintained that there is a close connection between the Ayush method and traditional method of treatment.
He also informed that the Government is planning to open such dispensaries at different locations of the state. He also appealed the people to take benefit from the newly opened Dispensary with the intention for caring the dispensary.
The Inaugural Function was attended by Shri S. Subhaschandra Singh, MLA, Naoria Pakhanglakpa A/C and H. Indrajit Singh, MLA Kshetrigao A/C and Dr. A. Guneshwor Sharma as President and Guests of Honour respectively.
Later minister inaugurated an Ayush Store at the campus of AYUSH Directorate Lamphelpat before the inauguration of Leima Ching Water Supply Scheme under Kshetrigao Assembly Constituency which is constructed under NLCPR.
