Lecture on health and hygiene held

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, March 19, 2018: 12 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarter IGAR (South) has always been at the forefront to generate awareness amongst the villagers in its area of responsibility said a press statement released by IGAR (S).

In continuation with this motive the team of 12 Assam Rifles organised a workshop on ‘Health and Hygiene’ at village Shaibol of Tengnoupal district on March 16. The workshop began with an inspiring lecture on maintenance of general and personal hygiene followed by an interactive session with the villagers that included 20 males and 15 females. The villagers were quite intrigued and enthusiastic about the various aspects of basic health and hygiene that they learnt in the workshop.

The workshop concluded on a positive note that the villagers should inculcate a healthy lifestyle. The villagers extended their heartfelt gratitude and delivered a vote of thanks to the team of 12 Assam Rifles for organizing such a beneficial programme, added the statement.
