Four Rohimgyas held

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, May 2, 2018: Manipur Police yesterday arrested four illegal Rohingya immigrants at the Indo-Myanmar border town Moreh.

They were held from hotel Calbo near gate no. 2 at Moreh when a team of Moreh police under the supervision of superintendent of police Dr. S.Ibomcha Singh conducted search operation at the hotel.

The Rohingyas were identified as

Zobar (21 yrs) son of Warhussain, Rapik(19yrs) son of Md Adsama, Kamal Hussain(19 )son of Abutaher and Munni Bibi (19) daughter of Mohammad; all from Yakhai in Myanmar.

One person who trafficked them to Moreh identified as Takhellambam Gobin Singh(29) son of Takhellamban Subol Singh of Lilong Urup Arapti Makha Leikai  , Imphal East was also arrested.
They were handed over to Moreh Police station.
