Health minister chaired reviews meeting of Health department including NHM

Imphal, the 6th , 2018 (DIPR): Health and family Welfare Minister Shri L. Jayantakumar Singh has urged the officials and staff of Health Department including the National Health Mission to work to achieve the objectives set for bringing an excellent health service in the state.

Chairing a combined meeting of the Health Department including National Health Mission held at the Conference Hall of Old Secretariat today Imphal minister Jayantakumar Singh advised all the concerned officials of the department to work sincerely and with dedication to give the best health service to the people of the state. He also said that giving awareness to the people about the health schemes launched by the new government is also quit necessary.

The meeting also highlighted about the implementation of new initiatives of the government such as organising health camps and health awareness programmes under the Khungang Chatse Mission which was recently launched by the new government. In order to deliver comprehensive health care service, Mobile Van service will also be in vogue every Tuesday. The meeting also discussed regarding the importance and prospects of more than 20 NHM programmes and other health schemes.

The joint meeting was also attended by Principal Secretary Health, Vumlunmang Vualnam, IAS, Director Health, Dr. K. Rajo Singh, Additional Directors, Nodal Officers and officials from Health Department and NHM.
