Transport department employees demonstrate for Central Pay

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, May 16, 2018: Manipur state transport department today staged a sit-in at the department complex in Imphal demanding to implement the 7thCentral Pay scale as a part of the employees’ cease-work strike spearheaded by   Joint Administrative Council of All Manipur Trade Unions’ Council and All Manipur Government Employees’ Organisation which has crossed 55 days.

Ph. Bijoykumar Singh, general secretary of All Manipur Transport Department Employees Union, said the employees will take up every form of agitation which is spearheaded by the joint administrative council of the employees until the demand is fulfilled.
