The ‘JAC-All Manipur DPC Completed Recruitment Candidates of Police Constable, Male 2016 (K Jayanta Singh) Batch’ blames the government for the cause of his delayed as the result of the constable recruitment held in 2016 keeps pending.

Romeshkumar died is the son of late Kh. Krishnamohon of Wangoo Sandangkhon Awang Leikai, Kakching. He was the general secretary of the JAC. The JAC has been demanding to declare the recruitment result.

The new general secretary of the JAC Okram Bishwanath told the reporters at Manipur Press Club that “The betrayal of the constable candidates by the government is the cause of the death of our beloved friend.” He drew the attention of the government so that no such ‘unfortunate’ incident occurs again. A few minutes silence was observed praying for the soul to rest in peace.

The JAC urges the government to give possible assistance to the bereaved family of the deceased cop aspirant. The constable candidates also caution the government that they will take up severe forms of agitations as the government remain silent to their peaceful agitations. “More helpless candidates may die of depression as many are crossing age limit”, said the secretary. Around 8, 000 candidates appeared for 2000 constables’ post.
