Registration and awareness campaign for job in hospitality industry held

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, June 4, 2018: Khuga Battalion organised an ‘Awareness and Registration Campaign’ through Mobile Interactive Terminal for Rural Area (MITRA) vehicle on June 4 at YPA Hall, New Lakma, Churachandpur.  As an effort towards nation building and also provide common platform to the youth, Career Counseling Cell of Khuga Battalion organised the campaign to promulgate Awareness regarding Golden Threshold program (Phase-III) for placement in ‘Hospitality Industry’ with Taj Group of Hotels.

The registration of the aspirants was carried out based on their educational merit and qualifications wherein 186 candidates were registered for the Golden Threshold Program likely to commence by 3rd week of June.

 The campaign provided an excellent opportunity for the Battalion to reach out to the youth and motivate them to wean away from Insurgency towards bright career prospects.  The aspirants expressed their gratitude towards the genuine concern of Indian Army for providing them with an appropriate forum and guide them towards better future.
